History: The once quiet town of Texarkana, Texas was in an uproar. Not long after WWII ended, a serial killer wearing a white burlap sack for a mask started killing folks trying to socialize away from everyone else. He's also been said to assault others bodies when given the chance. Just who is he, and can he be stopped?
Notable Kills: The infamous "trombone murder". Just look it up.
Final Fate: Despite being shot in the leg, the phantom manages to get away, no repercussions at all. Just like in real life, no one knows where he went, or even if he survived.
Powers/Abilities: None
Weakness: Anything conventional.
Scariness Factor: 3.5-While it's not the most original getup, it's certainly intimidating enough to send others packing. There’s also the case that someone like him actually existed, and his identity still remains a mystery.
Trivia: -While these events were based on truth, at least one person tried to sue the film for an inaccurate depiction of his sister.
-The tagline on one of the posters, claiming that the threat of the killer could still be continuing, sparked more than a bit of controversy, seeing how the actual killer had yet to be apprehended.
